If you’re a new mom like me, you know that packing a diaper bag for a baby takes a special kind of expertise. Extreme organization skills with a dab of OCD are needed to create the award winning balance of necessities and “just in case” items; all without leaving your house with a bag that weighs more than your Mary Poppins purse.
Some moms haven’t even mastered the “pair and a spare” approach where one diaper bag is left in the car with the essentials and the other bag is packed and ready for any and every possible surprise.
The items each diaper bag contains will of course vary depending upon the age of the baby, and how long you’ll be out. In most cases, simply packing one extra diaper can be the determining factor between a nice day out on the town and an awful one.
